The open-plan living quarters are particularly impressive, with a stunning stag mural overlooking a beautifully set dining table. The kitchen is a dream come true for those who love to cook, with sparkling new appliances, while the large TV, cozy seating, and balcony with a view across the woods provide the perfect relaxation spot. The resort offers a wide range of activities to keep everyone entertained. The pool and spa are a hit with the kids, while the activity barn with soft play and crazy golf is a favorite for the younger ones. The daily crafts and events itinerary ensures that there is always something new to try. The Room with a View Restaurant is another great addition to the resort, with a great pub grub menu and children eating for just £1. The food is delicious, and the pub quiz while we ate was a fun addition. Piperdam is also ideally located for day trips, with Dundee Science Centre and the beach at Broughty Ferry just a short drive away. The science centre is great for youngsters, with hands-on activities and the Fact or Fiction physics show, while the beach is perfect for building sandcastles and spotting dolphins. Camperdown Park is also just a 10-minute drive away, with stunning walks and a huge playpark. While we could have happily stayed on-site for the full break, the cost of four nights in the 12-person lodge is £1,349, which is a fair price for the quality of the accommodation and the range of activities on offer. In my opinion, Piperdam is a must-visit for families seeking a fun and luxurious getaway.
