Gleeson brings a wealth of experience to the table, particularly in the Big 12 conference. He previously served as the offensive coordinator for Oklahoma State back in 2019.
Before his time at Missouri, Gleeson held offensive coordinator positions at Princeton (2017-2018) and Rutgers (2020-2022). He initially joined Missouri as an analyst in 2023 before being promoted to quarterbacks coach. Now, he's set to take on the coordinator role once again, working alongside new Kansas State coach Collin Klein.
Gleeson's track record in the Big 12 is noteworthy, even with a limited sample size. In 2019 at Oklahoma State, his offense averaged 32.5 points per game, placing them at 36th in the FBS. They also racked up 453.9 yards per game, ranking 22nd nationally.
At Princeton, Gleeson's offensive prowess was undeniable. In 2018, the team went undefeated and led the Ivy League in total offense. Furthermore, Princeton dominated the FCS in scoring offense, averaging an impressive 47.0 points per game.
Adding another layer to his impressive resume, Gleeson is a former quarterback from Williams College. Interestingly, he also played first base for the school's baseball team.
